Building Our First World

On sunlit fields, village life, and finding the feeling before the details.

Before a world has a map, it has a feeling. For GC21, that feeling is a quiet morning: sunlight on a vegetable patch, a stream beyond the gate, and a day with room to make it your own.

Starting with a little place

We began with a farmhouse, a garden, and a path into the village. Who lives down the road? What might grow here? How does the world feel when the village lights come on? Those little questions help guide the work.

These early concept studies help us explore atmosphere before committing to the details. The images on this site are placeholders for now, a starting point for the worlds we are making.

Room for discovery

We want curiosity to have room to breathe. That means leaving quiet stretches between discoveries, paying attention to scale, and making the small things worth noticing. There is plenty left to figure out. That is part of the work.

Thanks for spending a little time with us.
